Homeless Persons' Memorial Day falls on the longest night of each year, December 21st, and serves to remember those who lost their lives while experiencing the devastating impacts of homelessness. People experiencing homelessness are at a higher risk for trauma, injury, and illness, and lack of housing and access to resources exacerbates these issues. Safe, stable housing is a basic and essential human right, and the fight to end homelessness remains underway.
