TOVP Foundation is the U.S. fundraising arm for the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium (TOVP), the heart of ISKCON Mayapur, a 600-acre complex located in the heart of West Bengal, India, with a flourishing spiritual, educational, social, cultural and philanthropic community of 5000+ multi-national residents since 1972. 6 million people visit annually and that is expected to quadruple after the opening of the TOVP in 2024. Current programs include 5 schools, free meal distribution to over 1300 people daily, the Tribal Care Initiative, a Community Hospital, regular cultural festivals, business opportunities for local artists and craftsmen, a local agricultural development program, and much more. The Chairman of the project is Alfred Ford, great-grandson of the US auto magnate, Henry Ford.
