United Mission For Relief And Development (UMR)
Explosions across Sri Lanka have claimed more than 290 lives and left at least 500 people injured in Colombo, Negombo and Batticaloa. The blasts targeted worshippers celebrating Easter Sunday at various churches in addition to hotels, restaurants and other sites in Sri Lanka.
UMR has set up the Sri Lanka Emergency Relief Fund to provide much-needed assistance to the families of the victims, as well as medicine and psychosocial support to aid those affected by this tragedy.
UMR is a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides livelihood and disaster relief and recovery services to the underserved, specializing in the Health, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) and Child Protection sectors.
