School for Parents: Supporting At-Risk Families In Bulgaria Fund

From our practical experience at For Change working with numerous families at risk, we've observed that no matter what we do with the children, achieving success becomes very difficult if we don't work comprehensively with the parents. The idea is to engage parents and extend the family circle to change their attitudes and priorities. They should realize their roles and responsibilities and be willing to shift their priorities. We want to engage specialists such as social workers, medical professionals, psychologists, lawyers, and others, if necessary, to help the parents to create a plan for change. With the donations from this fund, we will provide support in dealing with institutions, offering assistance, counseling, and any other necessary help to the parents so that they can raise their children in safer environment.
