This Girl Rows In 2022 I will be rowing solo 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean as part of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic challenge also I hope to break the world record for the fastest solo female- more people have climbed Mt. Everest than have rowed across the Atlantic! Less than 20 women have ever completed this epic challenge. The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is the premier event in ocean rowing – A challenge that will take me more than 3000 Miles west from San Sebastian in La Gomera, Canary Islands (28oN 18oW) to Nelson’s Dockyard English Harbour, Antigua & Barbuda (17oN 61oW).   I will be rowing for up to 18 hours a day, in temperatures in excess of 30 degrees and 30ft waves- The Waves in the Atlantic can be big, really big.
