The average woman in rural Africa walks 6 kilometers (about 3.7 miles) daily to haul 40 pounds of water. Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene is a crucial aspect of ensuring the well-being and development of communities worldwide. Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, yet millions still lack access to safe drinking water sources.
