Abolitionist Law Center
The Abolitionist Law Center is a public interest law firm and community organizing project organized for the purpose of abolishing class and race based mass incarceration in the United States. ALC engages in class action litigation on behalf of people whose human rights have been violated in jail and prison, produces educational programs to inform the general public about the harms of policing and mass incarceration, and works to develop a mass movement against the injustices of the American penal system by building alliances and nurturing solidarity across social divisions.
Galveston First African American Museum
This is an organization that has applied for and obtained tax-exempt status from the IRS under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Black Outside, Inc
Black Outside Inc reconnects Black/African-American youth to the outdoors through transformative outdoor adventures and explorations. Our programming builds on the rich cultural history of Black people in the outdoors while simultaneously enhancing the leadership skills of our youth.
Blacks in Technology Foundation
Our goal and mission is to “stomp the divide” between Black tech workers and to fundamentally influence and effect change on an industry that has historically not sought parity with respect to Black workers. Our intent is to level the playing field through training, education, networking, and mentorship with the support of allies, partners, sponsors, and most importantly our global members.
