Most people know how impactful American Red Cross is across the country and around the world. You may not realize that your local Northeast Chapter supports our community each and every day by; • Responding to local disasters (primarily fires) • Assist families with shelter, food, comfort, and hope after a disaster • Proactively install thousands of life saving alarms • Prepare people for emergencies and train in life saving skills • Collect donations of blood to help hospital patients in need • Provide emergency communications and critical community services The Red Cross maintains an unwavering commitment to our local community as well as members of the U.S. military, it’s veterans and their families, and our local youth and young adults.
