About six million people in low-lying, coastal areas of Myanmar and Bangladesh are in Cyclone Mocha's path. Thousands of homes have been destroyed, including shelters in Cox Bazar, considered the world's largest refugee camp, where families live in flimsy tents and makeshift structures. Thousands of people were evacuated to schools, monasteries, and other shelters, and within hours of landfall, the storm caused deaths, destroyed homes, and cut off power. We have created this fund to provide emergency supplies, food, water, and shelter to those affected by the cyclone. The Cyclone Mocha Relief Fund 2023 is a testament to the power of human kindness and the ability to come together in times of need to support one another.
