The Feeding America network is the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. The Feeding America network of food banks, pantries and meal programs serve virtually every community in the United States — 40 million people, including 12 million children and 7 million seniors.
Meals on Wheels America
Vulnerable seniors are at the greatest risk amid COVID-19. Local Meals on Wheels programs are on the front lines every day, focused on doing all they can to keep older Americans safe and nourished in communities across the country. The costs and efforts needed to protect seniors from COVID-19 require additional emergency funds. The Meals on Wheels COVID-19 Response Fund will help local communities across the country meet the increased demand for nutritious meals that can keep seniors safe and healthy.
Midwest Food Bank NFP
Midwest Food Bank has several functions including Food Distribution – Providing food to 7,000 Non-profit agencies, free of charge; Disaster Relief – Providing Disaster Relief Family Food Boxes in times of disaster (can feed a family of four for five days), Tender Mercies – Producing a rice, beans, protein meal that is nutritious & low cost ($.015 per serving) and Hope Packs – Weekend feeding program for school aged children

No Kid Hungry
Share Our Strength’s mission is to end hunger and poverty in the U.S. and abroad. Through their No Kid Hungry program they are providing emergency grants to support the feeding activities normally carried out through a school program including breakfast, lunch and take home food.
